Competive Club
At North Idaho Blaze, we welcome athletes ages 7–18 to ignite their passion for Track & Field in an inclusive, encouraging environment, with no tryouts, no cuts! Our three-month season is designed to help your athlete build strength, endurance, and confidence while surrounded by a team of dedicated coaches and supportive teammates, all striving to beat their personal best.
Practices are held three times a week, with meets beginning in June. While competition is not required, meets offer a fun and motivating way to experience friendly competition from other areas and foster team spirit.

What events does our club offer?
We offer a variety of track and field opportunities for our athletes including sprints (100m/200m/400m), mid and long-distance track running events (800m/1500m/3000m), relays, hurdles, and field events such as long jump, triple jump, high jump. We currently have a coach for throwing events and pole vaulting who is willing to work with athletes on one designated weekday. Arrangements will be made prior to the start of the season with an additional cost for the pole vaulting and throwing program. If an athlete is interested in any throwing events specifically, we encourage them to visit Ironwood Throwers Club in Rathdrum for more information.
Kids Camp
North Idaho Blaze offers 4 different camps for our elementary-aged participants, Kindergarten - Grade 6th, with Coach Linda and Coach Greg. Each 4-day camp (Monday through Thursday) provides instruction in track and field fundamentals! Athletes will have the opportunity to try different events, including hurdles, long jump, and everyone's favorite, relays! Please stay tuned for those dates. $150 per athlete (Athletes pay fees)
M, W 6:00-7:15pm (2 days a week)
Practice Starts on 12/8/25 - ends on 2/25/26. Due to Christmas break, only 2 practices in 2025.
SUMMER SEASON 2026
Starts Tuesday May 26th
Ends Friday July 31st

$425 Per Athlete ($50 Recoverable if you volunteer)
Club Pays your meet fees (Ave $130 last year)
Scholorships Available. Seniors run Free. Juniors 50% off.
